Mechanisms of Polarity‐Driven and Material‐Dependent Charge Transfer at PVDF/Polymer Interfaces for High‐Performance Triboelectric Nanogenerators

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 5, Issue 3, May 2026.
We highly emphasize the polarity‐ and material‐dependent charge transfer mechanisms at polar and nonpolar PVDF/polymer interfaces. Theoretical DFT calculations reveal the quantitative correlation between work function and transfer charge, while experimental TENG measurements confirm the corresponding trend.
