Identification of laccase genes in Trichoderma asperellum Ts93

Biotechnology Letters, 2023
Although extensive research efforts have been dedicated to characterizing the laccase from white-rot fungus, little information is available on laccases from Trichoderma spp. A copper-tolerant strain with the ability to produce laccase was isolated and identified as Trichoderma asperellum Ts93.

The influence of fungicides on the growth of Trichoderma asperellum.

Mededelingen (Rijksuniversiteit te Gent. Fakulteit van de Landbouwkundige en Toegepaste Biologische Wetenschappen), 2003
Numbers of strains of Trichoderma asperellum are known as biological control agents of certain root pathogens of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). The restricted use of fungicides is sometimes useful in combination with these biological control agents. Therefore some experiments were conducted to evaluate the growth of T.

Biological evaluation of extracellular mycosynthesized silver nanoparticles by Trichoderma asperellum

BioMetals, 2022
Mycosynthesis of silver nano-scale particles by fungi is an important aspect in nanotechnology due to its eco-friendly, safe, and cost-effective nature. It also provides protein-capped nanoparticles, which are very stable and have good dispersion. The Mycosynthesis of silver nano-scale particles (SNPs) by Trichoderma asperellum Filtrate (TAF) was ...

Trichoderma asperellum xylanases promote growth and induce resistance in poplar

Microbiological Research, 2021
Xylanase secreted by Trichoderma asperellum ACCC30536 can stimulate the systemic resistance of host plants against pathogenic fungi. Following T. asperellum conidia co-culture with Populus davidiana × P. alba var. pyramidalis Louche (PdPap) seedlings, the expression of xylanases TasXyn29.4 and TasXyn24.2 in T. asperellum were upregulated, peaking at 12

[Antagonistic activity of volatile metabolites from Trichoderma asperellum].

Sheng wu gong cheng xue bao = Chinese journal of biotechnology, 2020
Trichoderma spp. is a kind of filamentous fungi with important biocontrol value. Twelve strains of Trichoderma spp. were isolated from the soils of different types of crops in Shaoxing, Zhejiang and Foshan, Guangdong. The antagonistic resistance to Fusarium oxysporum was compared by plate confrontation test.

Effect of Nanoparticles on the Growth of Micromycetes: The Case of Trichoderma Asperellum

Nanotechnologies in Russia, 2018
The effect of concentrations in the media of nanoparticles of silica, magnetite, and carbon nanotubes, as well as magnetic metallopolymer nanocomposites based on unsaturated dicarboxylates of cobalt (II), nickel (II), and iron (iron itaconate and citraconate and maleates of nickel, cobalt, and iron), on the growth of the soil-forming micromycete ...

Toxic metals accumulation in Trichoderma asperellum and T. harzianum

Microbiology, 2017
Heavy metal contamination represents an important environmental issue due to the toxic effects of metals on different organisms. Filamentous fungi play an important impact in the bioremediation of heavy metal-contaminated wastewater and soil. The purpose of this investigation was to observe fungal uptake behavior toward heavy metal.

[Anticancer properties of Trichoderma asperellum 302 from buried soils].

Tsitologiia, 2014
Melanoma is one of the most malignant tumors, which leaves no chance of survival in the case of the "bang". There are various ways to treat tumors, however, recently in the field of cancer research, there are studies in which fungal metabolites have been used as antitumor agents.

Trichoderma asperellumsensu lato consists of two cryptic species

Mycologia, 2010
Analysis of a worldwide collection of strains of Trichoderma asperellum sensu lato using multilocus genealogies of four genomic regions (tef1, rpb2, act, ITS1, 2 and 5.8s rRNA), sequence polymorphism-derived (SPD) markers, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) of the proteome and classical ...
