Probiotic supplementation during pregnancy shows a modest, non‐robust increase in Group B Streptococcus decolonization, with no consistent benefit for bacterial vaginosis or vulvovaginal candidiasis. Probiotics may serve as a non‐antibiotic adjunct, but standardized regimens and ecological diagnostic frameworks are required.

Prevalence and genotyping were conducted to determine Trichomonas gallinae infections among domestic pigeons in the Mashhad region of Iran. A total of 100 collected samples, T. gallinae infection was identified in 50 samples through microscopic parasitological, pathological and PCR methods. Phylogenetic analysis showed a distinct lineage of T. gallinae.
