Orius laevigatus engages in unidirectional intraguild predation on Transeius montdorensis. Despite this, both predators coexisted and suppressed the shared thrips prey. Aphids, a non‐shared prey, were effectively controlled by O. laevigatus even when its population was limited due to intraguild predation. T.

Evidence for a trade‐off between growth rate and xylem embolism resistance in 22 Eucalyptus species
Examples of cross‐sectional images of branchlets at 4× and 40×. Summary Within the growth–survival trade‐off framework, embolism resistance is considered a contributor to survival, yet whether greater embolism resistance inherently limits growth remains unclear.

Farm engineering topics: Trials with trickle irrigation
The trickle system of irrigation, used successfully for a number of years in glasshouse cropping, has been simplified for use on a field scale. The work was started by Symcha Blass in Israel in 1962 and its application has already reached Australia.
