Crystal structure of triclopyr [PDF]
In the title compound {systematic name: 2-[(3,5,6-trichloropyridin-2-yl)oxy]acetic acid}, the herbicide triclopyr, C7H4Cl3NO3, the asymmetric unit comprises two independent molecules in which the dihedral angles between the mean plane of the carboxylic ...

Adsorption of Triclopyr on Soil and Some of Its Components
The adsorption of triclopyr [[(3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridynyl)oxy]acetic acid] by homoionic clays, soil organic matter (H- and Ca-saturated), and seven soils was studied. The extent of adsorption on clays decreased in the order of decreasing acidity of the saturating cations.

Mitochondrial injury induced by triclopyr in the rat liver
The herbicide triclopyr (3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridinyloxyacetic acid) is already considered an environmental problem due to damage caused by incorrect disposal, leaching, and aerial dispersion, which may pose risks to the environment and human health. Studies have evaluated metabolism, absorption, excretion, and active transport but there is no clear ...

Water stress and triclopyr on clopyralid efficacy in honey mesquite [PDF]
Water stress may affect herbicide efficacy in herbaceous and woody plants. Chamber studies were conducted to evaluate the influence of water stress (-1.3 to -2.8 MPa) and triclopyr on the absorption and translocation of clopyralid in greenhouse-grown honey mesquite (Prosopus glandulosa Torr.).

Relative Activity of Four Triclopyr Formulations
Triclopyr is a synthetic auxin herbicide currently available as a triethylamine salt, butoxyethyl ester, pyridinyloxyacetic acid, or choline salt. The formulation of a herbicide has the potential to impact its activity; therefore, the objective of this study was to determine the relative activity of these four triclopyr formulations.

Eficiência do triclopyr no controle de plantas daninhas em gramado (Paspalum notatum) Triclopyr efficiency in controlling weeds in the lawn (Paspalum notatum) [PDF]

Effects of Triclopyr on Variable-Leaf Watermilfoil [PDF]
The objective of the study described here was to determine the effect on variable-leaf watermilfoil of various combinations of triclopyr concentrations and exposure times using dosage rates that controlled Eurasian watermilfoil under laboratory and field conditions (Netherland and Getsinger 1992, Getsinger et al. 1997, Petty et al. 1998).
