A Stepwise Approach for Transcatheter Edge-to-edge Repair in Very Advanced Tricuspid Regurgitation
Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) is the most widely used approach for tricuspid regurgitation in patients with prohibitive surgical risk. However, TEER might not be feasible in advanced tricuspid regurgitation.

Adjustable Annuloplasty for Tricuspid Insufficiency
De Vega described a technique for tricuspid annuloplasty using synthetic suture to reduce the size of the dilated annulus. We present our experience with an adjustable modification of de Vega's suture annuloplasty technique. The records of 12 patients followed for 15 to 30 months were reviewed.

eComment. Beyond the tricuspid annuloplasty techniques [PDF]
We have read with great interest the article by Iida et al. [1]. This is a very nice technique and it seems that it works well. However, the core of tricuspid repair continues to be the use of a prosthetic ring. In fact, better long-term outcomes are obtained with prosthetic rings than with suture annuloplasty, with an incidence of residual severe ...
