Clinical Trial: Effect of a 28‐Day Low FODMAP Diet on Gastrointestinal Symptoms Associated With Endometriosis (EndoFOD)—A Randomised, Controlled Crossover Feeding Study

In this randomised controlled crossover feeding study, 35 women with endometriosis and poorly controlled gastrointestinal symptoms were randomised to either a supplied low FODMAP diet for 4 weeks or a control diet. Participants washed out for 4 weeks, and crossed‐over to the alternate dietary intervention.

Abstract Aims Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) are commonly prescribed despite no longer being a NICE‐recommended first‐line treatment for depression and their recognized toxicity in overdose. This study examined prescribing, mortality, hospital admissions and clinical TCA data to quantify the use and impact of TCAs in England and Wales.
