Implications of grouping per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances for contaminated site regulation
Abstract Per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a broad group of persistent organic compounds with vastly differing physicochemical and toxicological properties. Some jurisdictions have proposed to regulate PFAS as a single class to overcome the limitations of regulating such a diverse group on a chemical‐by‐chemical basis.

Abstract The hazards and potency of skin sensitizers are traditionally determined using animal tests such as the local lymph node assay (LLNA); however, significant progress has been made in the development of non‐animal test methods addressing the first three mechanistic key events of adverse outcome pathway in skin sensitization.

An inorganic‐organic nanoarchitectonics strategy is developed to synthesize the MXene/covalent organic framework (COF) heterostructure (Ti3C2Tx/TAPT‐TFP) by the assembly of β‐ketoenamine‐linked COF on the Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets. The Ti3C2Tx/TAPT‐TFP achieves superior microextraction performance for the preconcentration of trace organochlorine ...

Weed survey on cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) fields in the Tarim River region of southern Xinjiang
Abstract This study was conducted to investigate weed infestations of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) fields in the region of Tarim River. Forty‐nine species among 17 families were identified in these cotton fields, and 24 of them were annuals. The eight dominant weed species in the cotton fields of Tarim River basin included Chenopodium glaucum, Solanum ...
