Clinical Performance of an Omnidirectional Aberration-Free Trifocal Toric Intraocular Lens

open access: yesClinical Ophthalmology
To assess the refractive and visual outcomes at different distances following cataract surgery with implantation of an omnidirectional aberration-free diffractive trifocal toric intraocular lens (IOL).A total of 24 patients who underwent bilateral implantation with the TrivaT-aAY IOL were analyzed at 3-4 months post-surgery. Refractive error, monocular

Optical performance of a new design of trifocal intraocular lens based on the Devil's diffractive lens

open access: yes, 2023
In this work, we propose a new diffractive trifocal intraocular lens design with focus extension, conceived to provide a high visual performance at intermediate distances. This design is based on a fractal structure known as the "Devil's staircase".

Spectral performance of a trifocal intraocular lens

open access: yes, 2019
We describe a hybrid refractive-diffractive trifocal design for an intraocular lens (IOL) and experimentally measure the light distribution among the distance, intermediate and near foci, with three different wavelengths, in order to determine its power, energy efficiency and spectral behaviour, such as the Longitudinal Chromatic Aberration (LCA).

Trifocal versus monofocal intraocular lens implantation in eyes previously treated with laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) for myopia

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology
Purpose: To assess visual and refractive outcomes of trifocal intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in eyes that had previously undergone laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) for myopia and to compare them with those recorded after implantation of a ...
