Temporal multiplexing with adaptive optics for simultaneous vision. [PDF]
We present and test a methodology for generating simultaneous vision with a deformable mirror that changed shape at 50 Hz between two vergences: 0 D (far vision) and -2.5 D (near vision).

Objective. This study is the first observation of Alcon’s PanOptix trifocal intraocular lens (IOL) implanted in 55 cataract patients with femtosecond laser‐assisted cataract surgery. Methods. Fifty‐five patients (63 eyes) with cataract were treated with femtosecond laser‐assisted cataract surgery combined with trifocal IOL implantation.

Myopia goes far beyond the inconvenience it brings. It is a prevailing and vision‐threatening eye disease, especially in Asia. Aberrantly expressed miR‐708a and miR‐148 are critical for accurate diagnosis, good prognosis, and precise response prediction of myopia.

Clinical and Aberrometric Evaluation of a New Monofocal IOL with Intermediate Vision Improvement
Purpose. The aim of the study was to evaluate the visual outcomes, aberrometric results, and subjective and objective optical qualities 12 months after implantation of a new monofocal intraocular lens (Physiol IsoPure 1.2.3) in comparison with a standard monofocal intraocular lens (Tecnis PCB00). Materials and Methods.

Aim. To evaluate visual results and patient‐perceived outcomes in patients with ocular pathologies implanted with a new extended depth‐of‐focus intraocular lens (IOL). Methods. Patients with ocular pathology undergoing cataract surgery and bilaterally implanted with Vivity® IOLs were evaluated three months after surgery.

Assessing the in vitro optical quality of presbyopic solutions based on the axial modulation transfer function. [PDF]
PURPOSE: To present a metric for assessing the in vitro optical quality of rotationally symmetrical optical elements based on volume calculation under the surface defined by the axial modulation transfer function (MTF).
