This study presents here a versatile and automated method based on open‐access curated databases for complex mixture radiolysis kinetic modeling. The case study is a nuclear‐to‐chemical concept. This method provides a robust way for concept evaluation and could pave the way for radiation‐induced technology development in chemical processing.

Water quality monitoring of Reactor TRIGA PUSPATI
Abstract At present, Reactor TRIGA PUSPATI (RTP) is the only nuclear research reactor in operation in Malaysia since 1982. Each year, the reactor is operated on average for about 600 hours mainly for the advanced neutron and gamma radiation studies as well as for isotope production, sample activation and student training. About one-third

Abstract The Kallianos Au‐Ag‐Te deposit is a Cenozoic orogenic‐style deposit on Evia, hosted in the Cycladic Blueschist Unit. Integrated field observations and isotopic data illustrate a connection between the structural architecture that hosts mineralization in the deposit and the regional stress field associated with a crustal‐scale detachment, the ...

A limestone cave in the NW Dinarides exhibits an anomalous presence of montmorillonite clay, not commonly found in surrounding caves, posing questions about its origin and age. Analysis reveals a composition similar to weathered tephra from the Smrekovec Volcanic Complex, suggesting transport by north‐east winds.

Simulation of a TRIGA Reactor Core Blockage Using RELAP5 Code
Cases of core coolant flow blockage transient have been simulated and analysed for the TRIGA IPR-R1 research reactor using the RELAP5-MOD3.3 code. The transients are related to partial and to total obstruction of the core coolant channels.

Abstract The Aegean region marks the convergent boundary between the African and Eurasian plates, reflecting complex tectonic processes, including the closure of the Pindos ocean. The Pelagonian unit (PU) forms the core of mainland Greece and was part of the Eurasian continental margin, while the Pindos oceanic crust subducted beneath it.

Design and testing of a fiber-coupled fast neutron scintillation detector for low-power research reactors [PDF]
We present a new fiber-coupled organic scintillator fast neutron detector. Plastic scintillators are used in many applications to detect fast neutrons and gamma rays.

Abstract Predictions for the southwestern US with warming often suggest increased aridity. We investigate the sedimentary record of the Miocene Climate Optimum and Transition (MCO and MCT; ∼17–14 Ma) in northern New Mexico to understand the impact of warmer global temperatures and higher pCO2 on southwestern US hydroclimate. The MCO and MCT comprised a
