Some Identities for Trigonometric B-Splines, with an Application to Curve Design [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
In this paper we investigate some properties of trigonometric B-splines, which form a finitely-supported basis of the space of trigonometric spline functions. We establish a complex integral representation for trigonometric B-splines, which is in certain

Closed and asymptotic formulas for energy of some circulant graphs

open access: yes, 2016
We consider circulant graphs G(r,N) where the vertices are the integers modulo N and the neighbours of 0 are {-r,...,-1,1,...,r}. The energy of G(r,N) is a trigonometric sum of N*r terms. For low values of r we compute this sum explicitly.

Hyperbolic and trigonometric hypergeometric solutions to the star-star equation

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We construct the hyperbolic and trigonometric solutions to the star-star relation via the gauge/YBE correspondence by using the three-dimensional lens partition function and superconformal index for a certain $$\mathcal N=2$$ N = 2 supersymmetric gauge ...

Soliton solutions of conformable time-fractional perturbed Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2022
In this paper, our main purpose is to study the soliton solutions of conformable time-fractional perturbed Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation. New soliton solutions have been obtained by the extended (G′/G)-expansion method, first integral method ...

Accelerating a FFT-based solver for numerical homogenization of periodic media by conjugate gradients

open access: yes, 2010
In this short note, we present a new technique to accelerate the convergence of a FFT-based solver for numerical homogenization of complex periodic media proposed by Moulinec and Suquet in 1994.
