CALCULATION OF THE SYSTEM OF TWO CLOSED CYLINDRICAL SHELLS WITH INTERMEDIATE SUPPORT
A spatial system of two closed cylindrical shells is considered, having rigid fixation at one end and a free end at the other. Shells are located at some distance from each other and are interconnected by one intermediate link. One of the shells is under

Systematic Exploration of 3D Concrete Printing Parameters for Conformal Printing on Sloped Surfaces
A conformal slicing algorithm is developed for robotic 3D concrete printing (3DCP) on sloped surfaces as a first step toward printing slab‐on‐grade foundations on uneven terrain. Systematic experiments quantify the effects of nozzle speed, extrusion rate, and toolpath direction on filament dimension and stability.

Abstract Tyrannosaurus is viewed as a model organism in vertebrate paleontology, with numerous studies analyzing its feeding biomechanics. Nonetheless, the evolution of this feeding performance has been under‐addressed in Tyrannosauroidea, especially in basal tyrannosauroids. Here we used muscle‐force reconstruction and finite element analysis (FEA) to

Boundary value problems for the fractional Pauli operator: spectral methods and convergence analysis [PDF]
This paper investigates boundary value problems for the fractional Pauli operator on a finite square domain, addressing a significant gap in the literature where such problems have not been previously studied.

Abstract Engineering graduate students confuse the scientific method and problem solving when presenting their pre‐doctoral exams and theses: Science discourse adopts question and hypotheses to assert and establish a study's rationale, while it is problem and objectives in engineering design.

A Code‐Invariant QSG–VGA Co‐Design Methodology for Compact CMOS Vector‐Sum Phase Shifters
A circuit‐level co‐design methodology for compact vector‐sum phase shifters is presented, combining a code‐invariant common‐gate variable‐gain amplifier (VGA) with a resistorless quadrature signal generator (QSG). By maintaining an almost constant input resistance, explicit resistors are eliminated from the QSG.

Solutions series for some non-harmonic motion equations
We consider the class of nonlinear oscillators of the form {gather*} {d^2 uover{dt^2}} + f(u) = epsilon g(t) u(0) = a_0, quad u'(0) = 0, end{gather*} where $g(t)$ is a $2T$-periodic function, $f$ is a function only dependent on $u$, and $epsilon $ is a ...

Stopping Power of Electron Liquid for Slow Quantum Projectiles
ABSTRACT We revisit the problem of the deceleration of a charge moving in a medium. In the low‐velocity limit of the projectile, we construct the fully nonlinear (in the charge–target interaction) theory of the stopping power (SP), which goes beyond the classical Ehrenfest dynamics.
