In December 1964 interviewing of sport crab fishermen was begun in Humboldt Bay. A similar study was initiated in Crescent City in 1965. Fifty-four anglers interviewed at Humboldt Bay in 1964 and 1965 caught 27 Dungeness crabs, Cancer magister.

Tumor-Infiltrating Nociceptor Neurons in Ovarian Cancer Treatment Resistance. [PDF]
This study shows that high‐grade serous ovarian carcinomas (HGSOC) are significantly more innervated than the other histological subtypes. HGSOC small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) promote neurite outgrowth in vitro. Analysis of pre‐ and post‐treatment HGSOC samples shows that innervation increases post‐chemotherapy.
