Abstract The electronic structure and thermodynamic properties of crystalline mono-amino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (MATB), 1,3-diamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (DATB), and 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (TATB) have been comparatively studied using density functional theory in the local density approximation.

Kupffer cells recognize trinitrobenzene-labeled erythrocytes
Immunology Letters, 1982Chemical-modified erythrocytes (trinitrobenzene-modified erythrocytes (TNB-RBC)) are trapped in vivo rapidly by liver macrophages (Kupffer cells). The liver homing of TNB-RBC is dependent on the concentration of TNB-residues coupled to the surface of RBC. High concentrations induce liver homing, low concentrations spleen homing.

ASSESSMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS OF 1,3,5-TRINITROBENZENE
Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, 1997The remedial investigation/feasibility studies conducted at certain Army installations showed a need to clean up contaminated sites, where high levels of ammunition chemicals such as 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT), 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene (TNB), 1,3-dinitrobenzene (DNB), and their degradation products/metabolites were detected in surface soil and ...

Reaction of ammonia with trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid
Analytical Biochemistry, 1980Abstract 2,4,6-Trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid reacts stoichiometrically with ammonia in tetraborate buffer within 20 min at 35°C to give a compound (presumably picramide) with an absorbance macimum at 420 nm and ϵm 2.02 ± 0.07 × 104 m −1 cm−1 in the presence of 1.0 m m sulfite ions.
