Seasonal and Weather Effects on Older Drivers’ Trip Distances

Materials with Trip Effect: Mechanisms and Modeling

2002
The TRansformation Induced Plasticity (TRIP) phenomenon is clearly displayed when an inelastic strain occurs under an applied stress lower than the yield stress of the weaker phase. TRIP effect is attributed to the interaction between two basic mechanisms, namely the Magee and Greenwood Johnson.

Trip generation models with permanent unobserved effects

Transportation Research Part B: Methodological, 1990
Abstract The objective of this paper is to examine whether the use of conventional trip generation models based on cross-sectional data will produce biased results. Panel data are used to control for omitted time invariant household effects. The methodology is based upon fixed and random effects models.

Effects of STATCOM on Distance Relay Tripping Characteristic

2005 IEEE/PES Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition: Asia and Pacific, 2005
This paper presents the measured impedance at the relaying point in the presence of a shunt flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) device, i.e. STATic synchronous COMpensator (STATCOM). The presence of STATCOM on a transmission line has a great influence on the tripping characteristic of distance relays.

Effects of SSSC on Distance Relay Tripping Characteristic

2006 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2006
This paper presents the measured impedance at the relaying point in the presence of one of the series connected flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) devices, i.e. static synchronous series compensator (SSSC). The presence of SSSC on a transmission line greatly influences the tripping characteristic of distance relays. Distance relay

A Trip to Paris or a Trip to Rome? Context Effects and Stochastic Decision Making

The Psychological Record, 1984
The influence of relevancy and prominence of an attribute on choice probability was tested by using an example suggested by Savage. Two experiments were carried out. In the first, 65 subjects chose between two alternatives, identical except for a small bonus added to the second one. The relevancy of the bonus was manipulated.
