λ-Interval of Triple Positive Solutions for the Perturbed Gelfand Problem [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2021
We study a two-point Boundary Value Problem depending on two parameters that represents a mathematical model arising from the combustion theory. Applying fixed point theorems for concave operators, we prove uniqueness, existence, upper, and lower bounds of positive solutions.

An integrated workflow for quantitative analysis of the newly synthesized proteome

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
The analysis of proteins that are newly synthesized upon a cellular perturbation can provide detailed insight into the proteomic response that is elicited by specific cues.

Accuracy Meets Interpretability for Computational Spectroscopy by Means of Hybrid and Double-Hybrid Functionals

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2020
Accuracy and interpretability are often seen as the devil and holy grail in computational spectroscopy and their reconciliation remains a primary research goal.

Coherent control of optical soliton interaction via electromagnetically induced transparency with spatial modulation

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
We propose a scheme to realize the coherent control of optical soliton propagation and interaction in a three level Λ type electromagnetically induced transparency system with the control field being spatially modulated.

Repetitive Sequence Transcription in Breast Cancer

open access: yesCells, 2022
Repetitive sequences represent about half of the human genome. They are actively transcribed and play a role during development and in epigenetic regulation.

Boundary triples for the Dirac operator with Coulomb-type spherically symmetric perturbations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2019
We determine explicitly a boundary triple for the Dirac operator H≔−iα⋅∇+mβ+V(x) in R3, for m∈R and V(x)=|x|−1(νI4+μβ−iλα⋅x/|x| β), with ν,μ,λ∈R. Consequently, we determine all the self-adjoint realizations of H in terms of the behavior of the functions of their domain in the origin.

Development and characterization of Escherichia coli triple reporter strains for investigation of population heterogeneity in bioprocesses

open access: yesMicrobial Cell Factories, 2020
Background Today there is an increasing demand for high yielding robust and cost efficient biotechnological production processes. Although cells in these processes originate from isogenic cultures, heterogeneity induced by intrinsic and extrinsic ...

Study on the vertical well seepage model in composite carbonate reservoirs

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2023
Introduction: Carbonate reservoirs are widely distributed throughout the world. Due to the good physical properties of the reservoirs, they are easily contaminated by mud during drilling opening, so they are often put into production after acidification.

Tensor Hypercontraction Form of the Perturbative Triples Energy in Coupled-Cluster Theory

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Theory and Computation, 2023
We present the working equations for a reduced-scaling method of evaluating the perturbative triples (T) energy in coupled-cluster theory, through the tensor hypercontraction (THC) of the triples amplitudes ($t_{ijk}^{abc}$). Through our method we can reduce the scaling of the (T) energy from the traditional O($N^{7}$) to a more modest O($N^{5}$).
