PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

In this paper, we show necessary and sufficient conditions under which convergence of a triple sequence in Pringsheim’s sense follows from its weighted-Cesáro summability. These Tauberian conditions are one-sided or two sided if it is a sequence of real

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Recognition of mixed-sequence duplex DNA by alternate-strand triple-helix formation
Oligodeoxyribonucleotide-directed triple-helix formation offers a chemical approach for the sequence-specific binding of double-helical DNA that is 10^6 times more specific than restriction enzymes.

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

On generation and properties of triple sequence-induced frames in Hilbert spaces
In this paper, we present the innovative idea of ”t-frames,” frames produced by triple sequences within Hilbert spaces. The paper explores various properties of these t-frames, delving into topics like frame operators, alternative dual frames, and the ...

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

On a conjectured ideal autocorrelation sequence and a related triple-error correcting cyclic code
In a previous paper, No, Golomb, Gong, Lee and Gaal (see ibid., vol.44, p.814-17, 1998) conjectured that certain binary sequences having a simple trace description possess the ideal autocorrelation property.

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...
