The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

Lie Triple Systems, Restricted Lie Triple Systems, and Algebraic Groups
A Lie triple system may be defined as the odd part of a \({\mathbb Z}_2\)-graded Lie algebra, with the ternary operation given by \([xyz]=[[x,y],z]\) (inside the Lie algebra). The aim of the paper is to study the Lie triple systems related to the pairs \((G,\theta)\), where \(G\) is a simple and simply connected algebraic group over an algebraically ...

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Hybrid redundancy system for improving reliability - A concept [PDF]
System combines two concepts - triple modular redundancy (TMR) and spares (replacement system) redundancy. System has triplicated active unit core with associated bank of specifically arranged standby spare units.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

In this article, we reconsidered the problem of Aurangzaib et al., and reproduced the results for triple solutions. The system of governing equations has been transformed into the system of non-linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by using ...

Crossed product extensions of spectral triples
Given a spectral triple $(A,H,D)$ and a $C^*$-dynamical system $(\mathbf{A}, G, \alpha)$ where $A$ is dense in $\mathbf{A}$ and $G$ is a locally compact group, we extend the triple to a triplet $(\mathcal{B},\mathcal{H},\mathcal{D})$ on the crossed ...

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Although precise point positioning (PPP) is a well-established and promising technique with the use of precise satellite orbit and clock products, it requires a long convergence time to reach a centimeter-level positioning accuracy.
