Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

The unusual pulsation spectrum of the cool ZZ Ceti star HS 0507+0434B
We present the analysis of one week of single-site high-speed CCD photometric observations of the cool ZZ Ceti star HS 0507+0434B. Ten independent frequencies are detected in the star's light variations: one singlet and three nearly-equally spaced ...

Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

Cost-Effective HITs for Relative Similarity Comparisons [PDF]
Similarity comparisons of the form "Is object a more similar to b than to c?" are useful for computer vision and machine learning applications. Unfortunately, an embedding of $n$ points is specified by $n^3$ triplets, making collecting every triplet an ...

Double Charged Higgs Bosons Production in $e^-e^-$--Collisions [PDF]
In the framework of the models with Higgs triplets, double charged Higgs bosons production in the processes $e^-e^-\to\delta ^{--}_{L,R}\gamma$ are considered.Comment: 7 pages, 2 ...

Operando Temperature Sensing at the Actual Electrocatalytic Interface by Nanodiamond Quantum Sensors
By integrating a wide‐field microscope with a custom‐designed electrolyzer, nanoscale temperature changes can be recorded in situ during the electrolysis process without interfering with ongoing electrochemical reactions. This method establishes a correlation between the interface temperature and specific electrochemical reactions, making the measured ...

Highlights of Supersymmetric Hypercharge $\pm1$ Triplets
The discovery of a standard model (SM)-like Higgs boson with a relatively heavy mass $m_h$ and hints of di-photon excess has deep implication to supersymmetric standard models (SSMs).

Visible-to-ultraviolet (UV) triplet-triplet annihilation photochemical upconversion (TTA-UC) has gained a lot of attention recently due to its potential for driving demanding high-energy photoreactions using low-intensity visible light. The efficiency of this process has rapidly improved in the past few years, in part thanks to the recently discovered ...

The Effect of Purcell Cavities on the Lifetime of Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescent Emitters
A pressing challenge to OLED displays and lighting is to balance high efficiency and long operational lifetime in the deep blue spectrum. The Purcell effect can reduce the triplet density and hence the probability for destructive energy‐driven triplet annihilation events that limit the OLED lifetime. Here we study of the Purcell effect on two different

Smooth Hybrid Inflation and Non-Thermal Type II Leptogenesis
We consider a smooth hybrid inflation scenario based on a supersymmetric SU(2)_L x SU(2)_R x U(1)_B-L model. The Higgs triplets involved in the model play a key role in inflation as well as in explaining the observed baryon asymmetry of the universe.
