Universal Superconductivity in FeTe and All‐Iron‐Based Ferromagnetic Superconductor Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The first all‐iron‐based ferromagnetic superconductor heterostructures with high‐temperature superconductivity and strong ferromagnetism aredemonstrated. From this, it is discovered that FeTe becomes universallysuperconducting with a minute level of cationic impurities through doping ordiffusion from neighboring layers, suggesting its ground state can ...

TripNet: a method for constructing rooted phylogenetic networks from rooted triplets. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
The problem of constructing an optimal rooted phylogenetic network from an arbitrary set of rooted triplets is an NP-hard problem. In this paper, we present a heuristic algorithm called TripNet, which tries to construct a rooted phylogenetic network with

Cancer-Related Triplets of mRNA-lncRNA-miRNA Revealed by Integrative Network in Uterine Corpus Endometrial Carcinoma

open access: yesBioMed Research International, 2017
The regulation of transcriptome expression level is a complex process involving multiple-level interactions among molecules such as protein coding RNA (mRNA), long noncoding RNA (lncRNA), and microRNA (miRNA), which are essential for the transcriptome ...

A left-right symmetric model with SU(2)-triplet fermions

open access: yes, 2011
We consider an $SU(3)_c \otimes SU(2)_L \otimes SU(2)_R \otimes U(1)_{B-L}$ left-right symmetric model with three Higgs scalars including an $SU(2)_L$ doublet, an $SU(2)_R$ doublet and an $SU(2)_L \otimes SU(2)_R$ bidoublet.

Stable Radical Polymers as New Electroactive Materials: Synthesis, Properties, and Emerging Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review covers the recent advances in the synthesis and properties of stable radical polymers (SRPs) and presents their applications in electronics, magnetics, optoelectronics, and biomedicines. The review concludes with a discussion of the challenges in radical chemistry and functionalization, while shedding light on the groundbreaking potential ...

FaceNet: A unified embedding for face recognition and clustering [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2015
Despite significant recent advances in the field of face recognition [10, 14, 15, 17], implementing face verification and recognition efficiently at scale presents serious challenges to current approaches.

Switching From Acceptor to FRET Donor: How the Organic Solar Cell Architecture Can Change the Role of a Chromophore

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The non‐fullerene acceptor o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV is used in both binary and ternary blends to investigate the role that it plays in each device architecture. The charge generation pathways are found to differ between the binary and ternary blends with o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV becoming a second donor in the ternary blend.

Birth weight in a large series of triplets

open access: yesBMC Pediatrics, 2011
Background Triplets are often born premature and with a low birth weight. Because the incidence of triplet births is rare, there are relatively few studies describing triplet birth weight characteristics.

Supersymmetric Custodial Triplets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We analyze the extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model which includes extra Y = (0,±1) supersymmetric triplets with a global SU(2)L ⊗ SU(2)R symmetry spontaneousy broken to the custodial SU(2)V by the vacuum expectation value of the ...

Monozygotic Triplets and a Singleton After ICSI and Day 3 Transfer of Two Embryos

open access: yesSiriraj Medical Journal, 2017
Monozygotic triplets are a rare condition to occur naturally or even in assisted reproductive technologies. In this report, we present a case of monozygotic triplets with a singleton pregnancy following embryo transfer of 2 embryos.
