The Thermal Performance of Composite Trombe Wall
Solar Energy, 2005With the special configuration, composite trombe wall gained more attention for overcoming the defects of the traditional trombe wall. In the paper, the K-ε turbulent model is adopted to analyze the thermal performance of the composite trombe wall coupled with room by means of CFD simulation technology.

Performance effects of Trombe wall control strategies
Solar Energy, 1979Abstract Trombe wall performance is analyzed for a variety of control strategies in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Santa Maria, California and Madison Wisconsin. Controls were considered in both the presence and absence of backup energy. The analysis was performed using hourly simulations on Solmet weather data in a thermal network model.

Heat flux through a Trombe wall/roof
Applied Energy, 1985Abstract This paper presents an analysis of the behaviour of a Trombe wall/roof consisting of pipes, laid in a solid block, one surface of which is exposed to the sun, the other surface being in direct contact with a room maintained at a constant temperature, θR.
