The relative dominant species (RDS) in 51 sputum samples of severe asthma patients are described including Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis and Tropheryma whipplei RDSs. Hierarchical clustering revealed 2 clusters, one entirely composed of Haemophilus influenzae with relative abundance of 76.3%.

Multi‐omics analysis of asthma sputum identified five omics‐associated clusters (OAC1‐5).
