This study elucidates a novel mechanistic role of the deubiquitinase OTUD6A in asthma pathogenesis, uncovering its regulatory function in airway inflammation and airway remodeling through the stabilization of hResistin/mRELMα. This study offers a novel regulatory axis (OTUD6A‐hResistin/mRELMα) in asthma pathogenesis and OTUD6A inhibition as a potential

Using trophic models to assess the impact of fishing in the Bay of Biscay and the Celtic Sea
Using the Bay of Biscay and Celtic Sea area as a case study, we showed how stock-assessments and trophic models can be useful and complementary tools to quantify the fishing impacts on the whole food web and to draw related diagnoses at the scale of ...

Species assembly in model ecosystems, I: Analysis of the population model and the invasion dynamics [PDF]
Recently we have introduced a simplified model of ecosystem assembly (Capitan et al., 2009) for which we are able to map out all assembly pathways generated by external invasions in an exact manner. In this paper we provide a deeper analysis of the model,

Reducing the Eltonian shortfall with trophic interaction models
While species interactions are fundamental for linking biodiversity to ecosystem functioning and for conservation, large-scale empirical data are lacking for most species and ecosystems. Accumulating evidence suggests that trophic interactions are predictable from available functional trait information, but we have yet to understand how well we can ...

In non‐MASH‐HCC, L‐carnitine promotes tumor progression primarily through its classical role in enhancing fatty acid oxidation (FAO). However, in MASH‐HCC, where FAO is markedly suppressed, L‐carnitine shifts from this canonical function to serve instead as an intracellular acetyl group buffer.

A multifunctional injectable microsphere system is fabricated via UV‐assisted microfluidic cross‐linking, integrating nanozyme‐based ROS scavenging, sustained dexamethasone release, and stem cell delivery. Upon IA injection, the microspheres adapt to joint stress, suppress inflammation, and promote cartilage regeneration, offering a minimally invasive ...
