Structural Variations Associated with Adaptation and Coat Color in Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau Cattle
This study reveals the landscape of structural variants in Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau cattle through long‐read sequencing. Discoveries include metabolic and oxygen‐regulation gene variants, along with a 2‐Mb KIT‐containing inversion and translocations responsible for cattle gray coat. These findings highlight the significant role of structural variants in

In Vitro Monitoring of Babesia microti Infection Dynamics in Whole Blood Microenvironments
Here, an open microfluidic platform termed “µ‐Blood” is reported for real‐time, continuous monitoring of Babesia microti infection dynamics in vitro. µ‐Blood allows direct interrogation of whole blood with preserved integrity of the original whole blood microenvironment through an extended period (e.g., 72 h with mouse red blood cells) ex vivo. µ‐Blood

A self‐developed CTC sorting and capture platform enabled single‐cell metabolomics of patient/animal CTCs, revealing brain/bone metastasis‐specific metabolic signatures. A classification model developed from these signatures predicted lung cancer metastasis risk, outperforming traditional markers and total CTC counts (AUCs:89 brain = 0.74; bone = 0.92).
