Cervantes y la preceptiva literaria

open access: yesAnales Cervantinos, 2014
La historiografía de la cultura literaria relaciona frecuentemente El Quijote y, por extensión, la obra de Cervantes con la Preceptiva, materia que aparece perseverantemente en los planes de estudio desde finales del siglo XVII hasta la primera mitad del

2025 California Wildfire Observations Using Single Field‐of‐View Sounder Atmospheric Products (SiFSAP)

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Abstract Southern California wildfires result in a significant loss for Los Angeles and San Diego County from January 7 to 31, 2025. Palisades Fire and Eaton fires, the two largest fires that caused most of that damage, were observed by the infrared sounder CrIS and microwave sounder ATMS aboard a polar‐orbit satellite of the National Oceanic and ...

Long-term chemical characterization of tropical and marine aerosols at the Cape Verde Atmospheric Observatory (CVAO) from 2007 to 2011 [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 2014
The first long-term aerosol sampling and chemical characterization results from measurements at the Cape Verde Atmospheric Observatory (CVAO) on the island of São Vicente are presented and are discussed with respect to air mass origin and seasonal trends.

The sensitivity of the colour of dust in MSG-SEVIRI Desert Dust infrared composite imagery to surface and atmospheric conditions [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 2019
Infrared “Desert Dust” composite imagery taken by the Spinning Enhanced Visible and InfraRed Imager (SEVIRI), onboard the Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) series of satellites above the equatorial East Atlantic, has been widely used for more than a ...

Evidence for Virtual Source‐Receiver Refractions in Cross Correlations of Infrasonic Ambient Noise

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Abstract Seasonal variability in source activity and atmospheric temperature were retrieved from 11 years of infrasonic ambient noise. Variable lag times between an array and single microbarometer were obtained from envelopes of cross‐correlation functions. Beamforming and one‐bit normalization significantly enhanced the stationary phase.

An Ontology for Modelling Security: The Tropos Approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
It has been argued that security concerns should inform all the stages of the development process of an agent-based system. However, this is not the case since current agent-oriented methodologies do not, usually, consider security concepts within their modelling ontology. In this paper we present extensions to the Tropos ontology to enable it to model

A Re‐Examination of the Reversal in Vertical Velocity Profiles at 12 km Altitude Measured by the Middle and Upper Atmosphere Radar Over a 38‐Year Period (1987–2024)

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 130, Issue 23, 16 December 2025.
Abstract Vertical air motion is a key factor in many meteorological phenomena, yet measuring it remains challenging. VHF Stratosphere‐Troposphere radars, however, provide methods to measure vertical air velocities (W) $W)$ in the tropo‐stratosphere. From Middle and Upper (MU) atmosphere radar data spanning 38 years (1987–2024), we found that the well ...

Antarctica's Unique Atmosphere: Really Low INP Concentrations

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 20, 28 October 2025.
Abstract We present data on ice nucleating particles (INPs) from three Antarctic locations, a region for which INP measurements are still rare: the German Neumayer research station, contributing 2 years of data; the Belgian Princess Elisabeth station (PES) with samples from two austral summer seasons; and the region of the Antarctic Peninsula, adding ...

Applying tropos to socio-technical system design and runtime configuration

open access: yes, 2008
Recent trends in Software Engineering have introduced the importance of reconsidering the traditional idea of software design as a socio-tecnical problem, where human agents are integral part of the system along with hardware and software components ...
