This article addresses Leon Trotsky's account of ethics as it is developed in his essay "Their Morals and Ours (In Memory of Leon Sedoff)," which is regarded as an authentic presentation of Marxist ethics. The author shows that Trotsky considers morality to be an ideological function of the class struggle; thus for him ethics becomes one with politics.

First, and perhaps most obviously, we can consider Trotsky’s transnationalism in terms of the internationalist basis and verve of his political theories.
