A True Aneurysm of Posterior Tibial Artery

Annals of Vascular Surgery, 2011
True aneurysms of tibial artery are uncommon. We report a case of a 47-year-old woman who suffered from a distal embolism in the left toes. The surgical intervention involved an aneurysmectomy and the interposition of the posterior tibial artery using the saphenous vein graft. She has been doing well 22 months after the operation.

True and False Aneurysms of the Femoral Artery

Seminars in Vascular Surgery, 2005
True aneurysms of the femoral artery are uncommon. They are most often identified in elderly males and are frequently associated with aneurysms at other locations. Femoral artery aneurysms that are symptomatic or larger than 2.5 cm should be repaired in order to prevent limb-threatening complications, such as rupture, thrombosis, or embolization.

A true aneurysm of the femoral artery in acromegaly

Clinical Imaging, 2001
We report on an acromegalic patient who developed a true aneurysm in the right femoral artery. Plain computed tomography (CT) showed a soft tissue mass with low density adjacent to the right femoral artery. T1-weighted magnetic resonance (MR) images exhibited the lesion with moderate hypointensity peripherally, and hypointensity centrally.

True aneurysm of the middle meningeal artery
