Effect of Intermediate Principal Stress on the Strength, Deformation, and Permeability of Sandstone
Although the mechanical behaviors and flow aspects of sandstone have been previously investigated, studies of the effect of the intermediate principal stress (σ2) on the strength, deformation, and permeability of sandstone are lacking. In this work,

The Strength Criterion for Rocks Under True Triaxial Stress
Abstract A new criterion has been developed for the strength of rocks in the condition of true triaxial stress. The criterion parameters are calculated based on the results of a complex determination of the ultimate strength, which includes uniaxial tensile, uniaxial compression and biaxial compression.

This research provided evidence that division of labor indeed occurred when offspring were in need of parental care. Therefore, labor division may serve as the underlying mechanism for different parental care strategies and movement patterns among group members in the cooperatively breeding system of giant babaxes.

Based on theoretical analysis, the energy‐evolution behavior of the surrounding rock at various depths on the solid‐coal side of the 221303 material roadway during the “advancing‐toward‐mining” process was first clarified. Numerical simulations were then performed to validate and elaborate on the theoretical results.
