Dynamic analysis of coupling misalignment and unbalance coupled faults
Misalignment is a common fault occurring in the rotor system. However, the response characteristics have not been understood comprehensively, especially the relation between forces or torques and displacements, accelerations, or moments.

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Solution of the Stieltjes truncated matrix moment problem [PDF]
The truncated Stieltjes matrix moment problem consisting in the description of all matrix distributions \(\boldsymbol{\sigma}(t)\) on \([0,\infty)\) with given first \(2n+1\) power moments \((\mathbf{C}_j)_{n=0}^j\) is solved using known results on the ...

Some Propositions on Generalized Nevanlinna Functions of the Class Nk
Some propositions on the generalized Nevanlinna functions are derived. We indicate mainly that (1) the negative inertia index of a Hermitian generalized Loewner matrix generated by a generalized Nevanlinna function in the class Nκ does not exceed κ. This

Diabetic Gait Is Not Just Slow Gait: Gait Compensations in Diabetic Neuropathy
Background. Neuropathic complications from diabetes mellitus affect multiple nerve types and may manifest in gait. However, gait compensations are still poorly understood, as narrow analyses and lack of speed controls have contributed to conflicting or ...
