A new species of Rhynchoidomonas Patton was observed in a single adult male winter moth, Operophtera brumata (L.) from England. Intracellular amastigotes, and extracellular epimastigotes and trypomastigotes with an undulating membrane and free flagellum, were present. All stages had a large, reniform kinetoplast.
