Advanced Science, EarlyView.The circRNA circNAB1 is downregulated in AF patient. Silencing circNAB1 promotes collagen deposition and inflammation, whereas overexpression reduces AF susceptibility. circNAB1 encodes the protein NAB1 356 that interacts with EGR1 to mitigate fibrosis and inflammation.

PPY‐Induced iCAFs Cultivate an Immunosuppressive Microenvironment in Pancreatic Cancer
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma features abundant stromal components that hinder therapy efficacy. Single‐cell RNA sequencing analysis combined with experiments identified PPY, a gastrointestinal hormone, as a novel inducer of immunosuppressive iCAFs. Mechanistic studies revealed that PPY activates the non‐canonical NF‐κB pathway via EGFR.
