We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Self sealing disconnect for tubing forms metal seal after breakaway [PDF]
Disconnect fittings form a positive metal seal when the fill tube pulls against a metal sleeve when disconnected by force. A specially designed sleeve surrounds the fill tube.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Internally stressed polymeric composite/metal cylinders: Manufacturing, testing and quality verifying by simplified procedure [PDF]
In this paper the details about manufacturing of multilayer cylinders consisting of metal liner (obtained by standard machining procedures) and polymeric composite material (produced by filament winding technology) are presented. For multilayer cylinders

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Multi-spectroscopic investigation of the structure of single-wall carbon nanotubes
We present a multispectroscopic structural study of various nanotube samples with different tube diameters. We determine for each sample the mean bundle and tube diameter as well as the tube diameter distribution.
