Factores de riesgo y supervivencia libre de tumor en pacientes con trasplante renal de cadáver [PDF]

open access: yes
[Background] There is an agreement in the fact that cancer incidence in transplant recipients increases at a rate disproportionately greater than in the general population.

Molecular Glue cc‐885 Inhibits VHL‐Deficient Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma via ETS1 Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
VHL‐deficient kidney cancer lacks effective treatments. This study reveals that the molecular glue degrader cc‐885 hijacks the cellular recycling system to selectively destroy the oncogenic protein ETS1, effectively killing VHL‐mutant tumors. Combining CC‐885 with the approved drug belzutifan achieves powerful synergy, offering a promising new ...

Preoperative rapid growth of inferior vena cava tumor thrombus in renal cell carcinoma

open access: yesIJU Case Reports
Introduction We present the case of a rapidly growing inferior vena cava tumor thrombus in renal cell carcinoma. Case presentation We present a case of a 66‐year‐old woman with right renal cell carcinoma with a tumor thrombus extending 2 cm into the ...

IL‐7R‐Enriched Extracellular Vesicles From the Thymus Drive Colitis via Promoting Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis remains unclear. This study reveals that thymus‐originated IL‐7R‐enriched extracellular vesicles exacerbate colitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps via a thymus‐gut axis, uncovering an inter‐organ communication mechanism in inflammatory bowel disease pathogenesis.

Pharmacologic Modulation of ARID3A with Rimegepant Reactivates Type I Interferon Signaling and Sensitizes Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer to PD‐1 Blockade

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies ARID3A as a key immunosuppressive transcription factor in TNBC. Its inhibition activates the type I IFN pathway, boosting CD8+ T cell infiltration and sensitizing tumors to anti‐PD‐1. The FDA‐approved migraine drug Rimegepant targets ARID3A, enhances immunotherapy efficacy in preclinical models, and establishes a druggable axis to

Enhancing CAR‐T Cell Efficacy in Solid Tumors by Inhibiting CCL5/VEGF‐Mediated Angiogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that CAR‐T cells in solid tumors produce CCL5, which paradoxically induces VEGF and angiogenesis to promote tumor growth. Blocking CCL5/VEGF signaling—through gene knockout, or the CCR5 inhibitor maraviroc—significantly enhances the antitumor efficacy of CAR‑T therapy (the diagram was created in Biorender).

Targeting METTL3 Attenuates Thyroid Inflammatory Injury by Restoring Th17/Treg Balance through a YTHDC2‐m6A‐Dependent KDR/VEGFA Loop

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
METTL3‐mediated m6A modification stabilizes KDR/Kdr mRNA through YTHDC2, amplifying the VEGFA‐KDR feedback loop and disturbing Th17/Treg balance. This pathway promotes persistent inflammation and tissue damage in patients with AIT, and inhibiting the METTL3‐KDR axis effectively disrupts this circuit, alleviating thyroid tissue injury and disease ...

Treatment of localised renal cancer

open access: yes, 2019
Renal cancer represents approximately 3-4 % of total malignancies, and it is the most lethal urological tumor. However the prognosis of renal tumor is good when the tumor is organ confined.

Novel mutations and role of the LKB1 gene as a tumor suppressor in renal cell carcinoma

open access: yes, 2014
The tumor suppressor LKB1 gene is a master kinase and inhibits mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) by activating AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and AMPK-related kinases.
