Emergent Topological Magnons and Thermal Hall Effect in 2D Filling‐Enforced Fully Compensated Ferrimagnets

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of ferroelectric‐intercalation‐driven transitions in magnetic configurations and magnonic topological phases, together with the symmetry relations of magnonic Berry curvature. ABSTRACT Magnons in collinear magnets with vanishing net magnetization offer unique advantages for spin transport, including ultrafast dynamics and ...

Tunable GMM Kernels

open access: yesCoRR, 2017
The recently proposed "generalized min-max" (GMM) kernel can be efficiently linearized, with direct applications in large-scale statistical learning and fast near neighbor search. The linearized GMM kernel was extensively compared in with linearized radial basis function (RBF) kernel.

Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Dynamic Distributed Brillouin Optical Fiber Sensing Based on Dual-Modulation by Combining Single Frequency Modulation and Frequency-Agility Modulation

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
Dynamic Brillouin optical fiber sensors based on fast scanning of Brillouin gain spectrum (BGS) are one of the most promising techniques to measure dynamic strains, where an ∼11-GHz bandwidth arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) or a vector ...

Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

A tunable WDM wavelength converter based on cross phase modulation effects in normal dispersion holey fiber

open access: yes, 2003
We demonstrate a tunable wavelength-division-multiplexing wavelength converter based on cross-phase modulation in just 5.8m of highly nonlinear normal dispersion holey fiber (HF) and incorporating a precise compression-tuned apodized fiber-grating filter.
