Design and Implementation of Tunable Bandpass Filter for Biomedical Applications

2016 IEEE International Symposium on Nanoelectronic and Information Systems (iNIS), 2016
A realization of on-chip large resistance using aswitched-capacitor series to parallel topology is presented in thispaper. Using this scheme, a band-pass filter for various biomedicalapplications such as EEG, ECG, EOG at a very low cornerfrequency upto 0.01 Hz in 180 nm CMOS, N-well technology with1.8 V supply voltage and was simulated using Cadence ...

Tunable single‐mode bandpass filter based on metal–insulator–metal plasmonic coupled U‐shaped cavities

IET Optoelectronics, 2019
A compact plasmonic bandpass filter based on metal-insulator-metal plasmonic waveguides and a coupled U-shaped cavity is proposed in this study. Air and silver are used as insulator and metal materials and silver is characterised by the Drude model in ...

Independently Tunable Dual-Band Bandpass Filter

2020 17th International Computer Conference on Wavelet Active Media Technology and Information Processing (ICCWAMTIP), 2020
A reconfigurable multiband band-pass filter is proposed in this paper, using the structures and techniques of the Stub-loaded Stepped-Impedance Resonators dual-mode configuration. This design uses the source-load link and the shorted T-shaped stub lines.

All-Fiber Acousto-Optic Tunable Bandpass Filter

Optical Fiber Communication Conference and International Conference on Quantum Information, 2001
We report a novel, 3.5 nm bandpass, zero frequency shift, all-fiber AOTF employing a single acoustic flexural wave to couple light from the core mode to a cladding mode (propagating past a core block) and back again to the core mode.

Acousto-optic tunable bandpass filter based on acoustic-flexural-wave-induced fiber birefringence.

Optics Letters, 2018
An acousto-optic tunable bandpass filter was proposed and fabricated based on acoustic-flexural-wave-induced single-mode fiber birefringence via coupling the core mode to a single-cladding vector mode.

Tunable state-variable bandpass filter

IEE Proceedings G (Electronic Circuits and Systems), 1982
A simple method for tuning a state-variable bandpass filter over more than one octave without serious loss in the Q-value is presented. This is accomplished by modifying the input stage by adding one extra variable resistor. Analytical calculations show that there will be a 6% loss in quality factor over the tuning range.

Tunable dual-band terahertz metamaterial bandpass filters

Optics Letters, 2013
We report metamaterial terahertz (THz) bandpass filters with tunable dual-band selectivity. The shift in the center frequency of the device is achieved by actively modifying the effective length of the resonators. This was realized by introducing vanadium dioxide (VO2) bridges interconnecting specific regions of each resonator.

A 0.97–1.53-GHz Tunable Four-Pole Bandpass Filter With Four Transmission Zeroes

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2019
In this letter, a miniature 0.97–1.53-GHz tunable four-pole bandpass filter with constant fractional bandwidth is demonstrated. The filter consists of three quarter-wavelength resonators and one half-wavelength resonator.

Tunable bandpass filters with constant absolute bandwidth

Proceedings of the 9th International Symposium on Antennas, Propagation and EM Theory, 2010
This paper presents the design of novel tunable bandpass filters with constant absolute bandwidth. A novel mixed electric and magnetic coupling scheme is utilized. Theoretical analysis indicates that it is able to achieve desired coupling coefficients between the proposed resonators at various frequencies so as to obtain constant absolute bandwidth ...
