Tunable plasmonic color filter
Frontiers in Optics / Laser Science, 2020Dynamic spectral tunability is a key feature for plasmonic color filter. We numerically investigate the tuning of resonance wavelength of gold-based plasmonic structure exploiting the electrochromism of tungsten trioxide.

Voltage tunable bandpass filter
2015 Signal Processing Symposium (SPSympo), 2015A voltage tunable bandpass filter is presented. The filter is realized in microstrip technology using two stepped-impedance resonators. The voltage tuning is provided by means of varactor diodes. The filter has fixed absolute bandwidth of 30 MHz in the frequency range from 375 MHz to 915 MHz. The insertion loss is lower than 5 dB and return loss better

Niobium Tunable Microwave Filter
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2009A superconductor bandpass filter with tunable central frequency in the range of 2-3.5 GHz has been implemented using superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs). The filter is designed using two pi-network resonators connected by a transmission line. Both resonators have a SQUID inductor with a tuning range of 65-200 pH, controlled by current

Tunable Holographic Wavelength Filter
Spatial Light Modulators and Applications, 1995The high available bandwidth of optical fibres has led to a large interest in wavelength division-multiplexed (WDM) networks. Such systems rely on the functionality provided by tunable sources, receivers and filters. Components must be quickly tunable over a large range, have a narrow-band channel response, low insertion loss and be robust and ...

Towards tunable optical filters
Optical Interference Coatings, 2001We are focused on thin film filters with active layers for tunable applications. These layers present an electro-optic or piezo-electric effect. We study the influence of materials, substrates, and deposition conditions on these effects.

Monolithic tunable notch filter
1981 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Digest of Technical Papers, 1981A MONOLITHIC SECOND-ORDER state variable filter has been realized using a standard bipolar technology. It is a continuous time filter configured to provide notch, bandpass and lowpass functions, and is tuneable over three decades of frequency by the ratio of two external dc voltages.
