Focusing on the critical tap hole region of the blast furnace, this work examines binder characteristics, prepares tap hole clay with different formulations, and evaluates their physical properties. The findings confirm the advantages of composite binders and offer a new binder option for tap hole clay.

H2 prereduction selectively metallizes Fe in UG2 chromite pellets at 1100°C, while silicon carbide becomes active at 1300°C to convert remaining Cr2O3 to carbides and promote Cr metallization. By separating the roles of H2 and SiC, the sequential route reaches up to 65.7% Cr metallization and suppresses in‐furnace CO generation by ≈75% versus ...

EFFECT OF SINTERING TEMPERATURE ON TUNGSTEN CARBIDE DENSITIES AND POROSITY
The manufacture of tungsten carbide begins with mixing WC with Co in the milling process and then the compaction process is carried out using a compacting machine. After that, the sintering process is carried out to increase the strength of the material.

Nanomaterials' Multigenerational Effects by Single and Joint Exposure in Non‐mammalian Models
ABSTRACT Nanotoxicology has mainly focused on single‐generation studies, leaving multigenerational toxicity underexplored. Having animal welfare recently gained importance, we aimed to provide the state‐of‐the‐art of knowledge about multigenerational effects in non‐mammalian models in the case of nanomaterials (NM) single and joint exposure to other ...

Occupational exposure to metal welding and cataract: A systematic review and meta‐analysis
Abstract Background Metal welding generates ultraviolet radiation (UVR) of cataractogenic wavelengths, and UVR emitted during welding has been associated with cataract formation, but results from prior studies are conflicting. Methods We conducted a systematic review and meta‐analysis of epidemiological studies addressing associations between ...

Does attachment removal damage enamel? Influence of adhesive, resin, and bur on surface integrity
Abstract To evaluate the combination of composites, adhesive systems, and burs considering artificial accelerated aging (AAA), influence enamel roughness and morphology after attachment removal. One hundred ninety‐two bovine enamel specimens were divided according to composite type (Transbond XT, flowable, bulk‐fill flowable), adhesive system (Single ...
