Efferent ductule cyst of tunica albuginea
Urology, 1986A cyst of the tunica albuginea is reported. For this cyst, anatomic arguments favor an efferent ductule origin over an origin from mesothelial rests. This cyst is an important benign differential diagnosis of a testicular mass and requires only local excision.

Complex tunica albuginea cyst simulating an intratesticular lesion
Urologic Radiology, 1991Cysts of the tunica albuginea are uncommon lesions of the testis which in all reported cases have been benign. Complex cysts of the tunica albuginea can mimic intratesticular lesions, thus necessitating orchiectomy. We present a case of a complex tunica albuginea cyst which mimicked an intratesticular lesion at sonography, as well as at magnetic ...

BIOCHEMICAL ALTERATIONS OF THE TUNICA ALBUGINEA IN IMPOTENCE
Journal of Urology, 1997The objectives of this study were to quantify the immunohistochemical stainings of collagen types I, III and IV, and investigate the value of glycohistochemical staining with 3 lectin types specific to a particular glycan structure, Arachis hypogaea, Triticum vulgare and concanavalin A, as a method of defining possible changes in the collagen structure

Milk of Calcium in a Tunica Albuginea Cyst
Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, 2002Cys arising from the tunica albuginea are relatively rare. Although they may be mistaken for malignant testicular tumors on physical examination, sonography facilitates the correct diagnosis. Milk of calcium describes sedimented calcium crystals within a cyst or obstructed fluid-filled structure.

Tunica Albuginea Tissue Analysis After Electromotive Drug Administration
Journal of Urology, 2003To minimize patient discomfort electromotive drug administration has been used as noninvasive transdermal therapy for Peyronie's disease. We directly measured the tissue concentration of verapamil after electromotive drug administration to investigate whether this treatment modality is an effective drug delivery system.A total of 19 tunica albuginea ...

Adenomatoid Tumors in the Tunica Albuginea of the Testis
Journal of Urology, 1988AbstractAdenomatoid tumors of the tunica albuginea of the testis is rarely seen. Only 15 such cases have been described.
