Malignant Mesothelioma of the Tunica Vaginalis Testis
Australasian Radiology, 1992ABSTRACTA patient is described with an indolent scrotal mass complicated by acute hydroeoele which was proven to be due to malignant mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis. Although uncommon, the possibility of scrotal mass lesion should be eonsidered in ultrasound examination of hydrocoeles with atypical presentations.

Rhabdomyosarcoma of tunica vaginalis masquerading as hydrocele
Urology, 2005Paratesticular rhabdomyosarcomas are rare tumors with aggressive growth patterns. Multimodal therapy with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy provides the patient with an excellent long-term prognosis. These tumors often present in the first two decades after birth. We report on the case of an 18-year-old man with a paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma.

Lymphatic cysts of the tunica vaginalis testis
The American Journal of Surgery, 1969Abstract A case of cystic hygroma of the tunica vaginalis testis is described. It was discovered in the differential diagnosis of multiple painless lumps in the scrotum. Its relationship with retroperitoneal lymphatic cysts as well as the nomenclature of these hamartomas is discussed. Treatment was by excision.

2005The pericardium is a fibroblastic structure lined by mesothelium; the serous visceral layer (epicardium) is adherent to the heart, while the fibrous parietal layer is free. The pericardium extends nearly to the middle of the ascending aorta, on the pulmonary artery, and to the bifurcation.
