Extension of Cherenkov Light LDF Approximation for Yakutsk EAS Array

open access: yesJournal of Astrophysics, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
The simulation of the Cherenkov light lateral distribution function (LDF) in extensive air showers (EAS) was performed using CORSIKA code for configuration of Yakutsk EAS array at high energy range for different primary particles (p, Fe, and O2) and different zenith angles.

Tunka Advanced Instrument for cosmic rays and Gamma Astronomy (TAIGA): Status, results and perspectives

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
We present the current status of high-energy cosmic-ray physics and gamma-ray astronomy at the Tunka Astrophysical Center (AC). This complex is located in the Tunka Valley, about 50 km from Lake Baikal.

Analysis of Lateral Distribution of Atmospheric Cherenkov Light at High Mountain Altitude Towards Event Reconstruction

open access: yesInternational Scholarly Research Notices, Volume 2012, Issue 1, 2012., 2012
Air shower simulations with CORSIKA6.990 code using FLUKA 2011 and QGSJET II hadron generators are performed. The simulations are carried out at high mountain observation level, namely, Chacaltaya cosmic ray station. The lateral distribution of atmospheric Cherenkov light produced by various primary particles, namely, proton, helium, oxygen, and iron ...

Color and spectral characteristics of long-lived meteor trail formed by the Tunka bolide

open access: yesSolar-Terrestrial Physics, 2022
The paper addresses color characteristics and possible spectral composition of emission of a long-lived (~40 min) meteor trail of uncommon geometry, which was formed due to the bolide passage in the Tunka Valley on November 17, 2017. Analysis of dynamics

Towards the Tunka-Rex Virtual Observatory

open access: yesCoRR, 2019
The Tunka Radio Extension (Tunka-Rex) is a cosmic-ray detector operating since 2012. The detection principle of Tunka-Rex is based on the radio technique, which impacts data acquisition and storage. In this paper we give a first detailed overview of the concept of the Tunka-Rex Virtual Observatory (TRVO), a framework for open access to the Tunka-Rex ...

Master Robotic Net

open access: yesAdvances in Astronomy, Volume 2010, Issue 1, 2010., 2010
The main goal of the MASTER‐Net project is to produce a unique fast sky survey with all sky observed over a single night down to a limiting magnitude of 19‐20. Such a survey will make it possible to address a number of fundamental problems: search for dark energy via the discovery and photometry of supernovae (including SNIa), search for exoplanets ...

MASTER Prompt and Follow‐Up GRB Observations

open access: yesAdvances in Astronomy, Volume 2010, Issue 1, 2010., 2010
We presented the results of last years GRB observations obtained on the MASTER robotic telescope, which is the only telescope of its kind in Russia. These results include 5 prompt observations of GRB in 2008 and 2009, follow‐up observations of 15 other GRBs in 2008‐2009, the first observations in different polarization angles of optical emission from ...

Tunka-Rex: energy reconstruction with a single antenna station

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
The Tunka-Radio extension (Tunka-Rex) is a radio detector for air showers in Siberia. From 2012 to 2014, Tunka-Rex operated exclusively together with its host experiment, the air-Cherenkov array Tunka-133, which provided trigger, data acquisition, and an
