Unveiling the Corrosion Mechanisms of High‐Entropy RETaO4 Through In Situ Observation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Composition‐property relationships in multi‐component RETaO4 are unveiled. In situ XRD/TEM and EBSD expose dynamic crystallization pathways of the dominant corrosion product (pyrochlore) and reaction‐diffusion corrosion mechanisms. La1/6Nd1/6Sm1/6Eu1/6Gd1/6Dy1/6TaO4 emerges as the optimal composition, combining minimal corrosion layer thickness with ...

Addressing Degradation of Ni/YSZ Cermet Fuel Electrode in Reversible Solid Oxide Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Infiltrating nanostructured ceria (CGO) into Ni/YSZ electrodes significantly enhances durability in reversible solid oxide cells. Performance remains stable over 650 h and 24 redox cycles at 750 °C, despite Ni agglomeration. This approach shifts electrochemical activity toward CGO surfaces and reduces reliance on microstructure optimization, offering a

Pneumatized inferior turbinate (concha bullosa of inferior turbinate)

open access: yesMalawi Medical Journal
The nasal cavity structures are prone to different anatomical variations; one of these is concha bullosa, which best known as pneumatization of the nasal turbinate. This pneumatization is a rare phenomenon to in the inferior turbinate. We report the case of an incidental finding of inferior turbinate concha bullosa in a 30- year-old female who ...

PATHOLOGY OF THE MIDDLE TURBINATE. [PDF]

open access: yesJAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1907
The pathology of the middle turbinate is in general the pathology of the other intranasal structures. It is subject, as they are, to infectious inflammations, both of determined and undetermined etiology, to the progressive and regressive disturbances of nutrition, and to various processes of degeneration and atrophy.
