Asset Redeployability and Biodiversity Risk
ABSTRACT We examine how asset redeployability influences a firm's exposure to biodiversity risk. Our empirical analysis provides robust evidence that firms possessing greater levels of redeployable assets exhibit significantly lower biodiversity risk.

Upward Shift of Wind Turbine Wakes in Large Wind Farms
A detailed description of wake characteristics is essential for optimizing wind farm performance. Compared with the wake of a stand-alone wind turbine, less attention has been paid to wind turbine wakes in large wind farms.

Passing vehicles generate short‐duration wakes that can be redirected toward a vertical‐axis turbine. The interaction between wake structure, blade count, and rotational speed governs transient torque production. Low‐solidity configurations combined with tuned rotational speed enhance energy extraction under vehicle‐induced gusts.

3-D shear-layer model for the simulation of multiple wind turbine wakes: description and first assessment [PDF]
The number of turbines installed in offshore wind farms has strongly increased in the last years and at the same time the need for more precise estimations of the wind farm efficiency too.

ABSTRACT Compact plate‐fin heat exchangers (PFHEs) are commonly utilized in diverse industries, including aerospace, automotive, processing, and space. Various fin configurations, such as Plain fins, Wavy fins, Lance and Offset fins (OSFs), Perforated fins, louvered fins, and pin fins, are employed in compact heat exchangers (CHEs).

Analysis of Wind Power Fluctuation in Wind Turbine Wakes Using Scale-Adaptive Large Eddy Simulation
In large wind farms, the interaction of atmospheric turbulence and wind turbine wakes leads to complex vortex dynamics and energy dissipation, resulting in reduced wind velocity and subsequent loss of wind power.

Load Estimation of Offshore Wind Turbines
The influence of 3 MW Hywind-II wind turbine wakes from an upstream offshore floating wind turbine on a downstream turbine with a separation distance of seven rotor diameters was studied for a site in the Gulf of Maine.
