Motion‐corrected brain MRI at ultralow field (64 mT)

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose The study investigates the feasibility of applying a retrospective motion‐correction technique to ultralow‐field (ULF) MRI data to improve reconstructed image quality when there is patient motion, which is likely to be a critical challenge in portable, point‐of‐care imaging.

A correction for modeling radial, spiral, and PROPELLER dynamic contrast‐enhanced data: Time‐averaged extended Tofts

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose Dynamic contrast‐enhanced sequences (e.g. spiral, radial, PROPELLER MRI) often rely on oversampling the center of k‐space. Instead of the discrete snapshots obtained by Cartesian sampling, oversampling the k‐space center results in time‐averaging of the signal.

Comparative study of radiofrequency heating in deep brain stimulation devices during MRI at 1.5 T and 0.55 T: Challenging the assumption of safety at low field strengths

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose Low‐field MRI has been assumed to be implant‐friendly based on limited studies. However, radiofrequency (RF)–induced heating due to an implant is a complex resonance phenomenon, highly dependent on the implant's configurations and applied RF frequencies.

MR‐Cavitation Dynamics Encoded (MR‐CaDE) imaging

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose To develop methods for dynamic cavitation monitoring of a non‐invasive ultrasound mechanical ablation technology (histotripsy) in the brain and test its feasibility for treatment monitoring in ex‐vivo brain in a human MRI scanner. Methods A Gradient Echo (GRE) pulse sequence was modified with a bipolar gradient to perform MR‐Cavitation
