Performance of Turbo-SISO, Turbo-SIMO, Turbo-MISO and Turbo-MIMO system using STBC [PDF]

open access: possibleJournal of Communications, 2011
In this paper, performance of a Turbo coded wireless link is evaluated in the presence of Rayleigh fading for single-input single-output (SISO), single-input multiple-output(SIMO), multiple-input single-output (MISO) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system.

Nonsystematic Turbo Codes

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2005
In this paper, we introduce the concept of nonsystematic turbo codes and compare them with classical systematic turbo codes. Nonsystematic turbo codes can achieve lower error floors than systematic turbo codes because of their superior effective free distance properties.

Turbo multiuser detection for turbo-coded CDMA

WCNC. 1999 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (Cat. No.99TH8466), 2003
An iterative receiver structure is proposed for decoding multiuser information data in a turbo-coded DS-CDMA system. The receiver performs two successive soft-output decisions, achieved by a soft-input soft-output (SISO) multiuser detector and a bank of single-user SISO channel decoders, through an iterative process.

The turbo‐fountain

European Transactions on Telecommunications, 2006
AbstractReliable wireless broadcast with asynchronous data access based on fountain coding is investigated. We review the traditional problem formalisation for fountain codes operating on erasure channels, and we generalise the problem formalisation to more general channels.

The turbo PMHT

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2004
The PMHT (probabilistic multihypothesis tracker) uses "soft" a posteriori probability associations between measurements and targets. Its implementation is a straightforward iterative application of a Kalman smoother operating on "synthetic" (i.e., modified) measurements, and of recalculation of these synthetic measurements based on the current track ...

Grafik Unter Turbo [PDF]

open access: possible, 1988
