Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Optimization of 2‑Stage Turbocharged Gas SI Engine Under Steady State Operation
The proposed paper deals with an optimization of a highly-turbocharged large-bore gas SI engine. Only steady state operation (constant engine speed and load) is considered.

“Turbo-folk Rocks!”: New Readings of Turbo-folk
The subject of this paper is the ethnographic mapping of the origins of the new alternative scene, based on turbo-folk. Mainly located in Belgrade, this alternative scene has been swindling, over the last couple of years, as the circle of artists (Mangulica FM, Lenhart Tapes, Mega Denke, Gianni Druid, Bombe Devedesetih and others), who freely combine ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive impairment, fatigue, and depression are common in multiple sclerosis (MS), potentially due to disruption of regional functional connectivity caused by white matter (WM) lesions. We explored whether WM lesions functionally connected to specific brain regions contribute to these MS‐related manifestations.

Numerical Investigation of the Excitation Characteristics of Contaminated Nozzle Rings
The deposition of combustion residues in the nozzle ring (NR) of a turbocharger turbine stage changes the NR geometry significantly in a random manner. The resultant complex and highly asymmetric geometry induces low engine order (LEO) excitation, which ...

Denoising-Based Turbo Compressed Sensing
Turbo compressed sensing (Turbo-CS) is an efficient iterative algorithm for sparse signal recovery with partial orthogonal sensing matrices. In this paper, we extend the Turbo-CS algorithm to solve compressed sensing problems involving a more general ...

ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy type 1 (FSHD1) is a progressive neuromuscular disorder with no approved treatments. Identifying reliable biomarkers is critical to monitor disease severity, activity, and progression. Interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) has been proposed as a candidate biomarker, but longitudinal validation is limited ...

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.
