Destabilization of mutated human PUS3 protein causes intellectual disability
The homodimer of pseudouridine synthase 3 converts uridines at position 39 in tRNAs to pseudouridine (ψ), which affects tRNA stability and regulates RNA–protein interactions. Several patient‐derived variants of PUS3 have been associated with neurodegenerative diseases.

A Proposed Chaotic-Switched Turbo Coding Design and Its Application for Half-Duplex Relay Channel
Both reliability and security are two important subjects in modern digital communications, each with a variety of subdisciplines. In this paper we introduce a new proposed secure turbo coding system which combines chaotic dynamics and turbo coding ...

Turbo Lattices: Construction and Error Decoding Performance [PDF]
In this paper a new class of lattices called turbo lattices is introduced and established. We use the lattice Construction D to produce turbo lattices. This method needs a set of nested linear codes as its underlying structure. We benefit from turbo codes as our basis codes.

Monolithic Integration of Sub‐50 nm III–V Nano‐Heterostructures on Si (001) for Telecom Photonics
The monolithic integration of III‐V nano‐heterostructures on silicon via selective area epitaxy with dimensions down to 20 nm is demonstrated. The arsenic diffusion mechanism is employed to enable efficient light emission at the telecom wavelength range.

Turbo Decoding on the Binary Erasure Channel: Finite-Length Analysis and Turbo Stopping Sets [PDF]
This paper is devoted to the finite-length analysis of turbo decoding over the binary erasure channel (BEC). The performance of iterative belief-propagation (BP) decoding of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes over the BEC can be characterized in terms of stopping sets.

Artesunate Inhibits Neointimal Hyperplasia by Promoting IRF4 Associated Macrophage Polarization
This study shows that macrophage interferon regulatory factor 4 (IRF4) improved arterial injury‐induced neointimal hyperplasia by promoting of M2 polarization via up‐regulating krüppel‐like factor 4 (KLF4) in rodent and nonhuman primate models. Notably, artesunate is identified as a potent inducer of IRF4 in macrophages, and proposed as a promising ...

Irregular turbo code design for the binary erasure channel [PDF]
In this paper, the design of irregular turbo codes for the binary erasure channel is investigated. An analytic expression of the erasure probability of punctured recursive systematic convolutional codes is derived. This exact expression will be used to track the density evolution of turbo codes over the erasure channel, that will allow for the design ...

By studying the maturation mechanisms of vasopressin (AVP), this manuscript identifies FAM134B‐mediated ER‐phagy as a critical pathway for degrading both aggregated proAVP and the key ERAD component, HRD1. HRD1 induction mitigates proAVP aggregation and support AVP neuron function in the absence of autophagy.
