Convergence analysis for turbo-equalization [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings. 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (IEEE Cat. No.01CH37252), 2002
We investigate a sub-optimal iterative receiver for joint equalization and decoding called the turbo-equalizer. We view the evolution of the error variance of the transmitted symbols through the iterative processing, obtaining the convergence analysis.

How Can Teams Benefit From AI Team Members? Exploring the Effect of Generative AI on Decision‐Making Processes and Decision Quality in Team–AI Collaboration

open access: yesJournal of Organizational Behavior, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Human teams with distributed knowledge can make high‐quality decisions but often fail due to decision‐making asymmetries. As AI team members become integrated collaborators, understanding how AI can reduce these decision‐making asymmetries is essential. However, little is known about how AI team members can reduce these asymmetries and whether

Joint Hybrid Precoder and Combiner for Wideband Millimeter-Wave Massive MIMO Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Hybrid precoding and combining is a key technique to provide an appropriate antenna gain in millimeter-wave (mmWave) massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems.

Turbo per tone equalization for ADSL systems

open access: yes2004 IEEE International Conference on Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37577), 2004
Summary: We study the equalization procedure in discrete multitone (DMT)-based systems, in particular, in DMT-based ADSL systems. Traditionally, equalization is performed in the time domain by means of a channel shortening filter. Shifting the equalization operations to the frequency domain, as is done in per-tone equalization, increases the achieved ...

The effect of artificial gravity on the outcome of a two‐week resistance vibration exercise programme: BRAVE study

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract We evaluated the feasibility and efficacy of a 2‐week training programme comprising resistance vibration exercise (RVE) without and with artificial gravity (AG). Participants (n = 24) were divided into three groups: (i) URVE: upright loaded squat exercise; (ii) HRVE: horizontal loaded squat exercise; and (iii) AGRVE: loaded squat exercise ...

PAPR Constrained Power Allocation for Iterative Frequency Domain Multiuser SIMO Detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Peak to average power ratio (PAPR) constrained power allocation in single carrier multiuser (MU) single-input multiple-output (SIMO) systems with iterative frequency domain (FD) soft cancelation (SC) minimum mean squared error (MMSE) equalization is ...

Cardiovascular, respiratory and splenic responses to rebreathing and apnoea during exercise

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract We investigated integrative physiological responses to eupnoeic exercise (EX), rebreathing exercise (RB), dynamic apnoea (DA) and dynamic apnoea with cold‐water face immersion (DAFI) in 20 healthy participants. Trials involved non‐steady‐state cycle exercise at 60 W for an average duration of 66 s.

Direct Adaptive Multi-Resampling Turbo Equalizer for Underwater Acoustic Single-Carrier Communication

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
A wideband Doppler Effect is a significant challenge for underwater acoustic communications (UAC). This paper proposes a new two-stage structure of direct adaptive multi-resampling turbo equalizer (DAM-TEQ) for solving the problem of large timescale ...

A Low-Complexity Graph-Based LMMSE Receiver Designed for Colored Noise Induced by FTN-Signaling

open access: yes, 2014
We propose a low complexity graph-based linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) equalizer which considers both the intersymbol interference (ISI) and the effect of non-white noise inherent in Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) signaling.

Performance Characteristics of Zeno Trap Scanning DIA for Sensitive and Quantitative Proteomics at High Throughput

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, Volume 26, Issue 1, Page 68-81, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Proteomic experiments, particularly those addressing dynamic proteome properties, time series, or genetic diversity, require the analysis of large sample numbers. Despite significant advancements in proteomic technologies in recent years, further improvements are needed to accelerate measurement and enhance proteome coverage and quantitative ...
