Energy and Exergy Analysis on a Waste Heat Recovery Module for Helicopters
The exhaust of turboshaft engines contains a big amount of waste heat but does not provide propulsion power to the helicopter. Reusing the heat can increase fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions of the engine.

A numerical model of a rotating detonation combustor with a turbine cascade is established. Effects of blade profiles on the interactions between the shock wave system and turbine cascade are analyzed. Distinct wave system structures are formed by varying the blade profile and rotating detonation propagation direction.

Data Anomaly Diagnosis Method of Temperature Sensor Based on Deep Neural Network
As one of the indicators of whether all kinds of machinery and electrical appliances work normally during use, temperature has an important basis for judging the normal work of related machinery. In order to reduce the probability of safety and quality problems caused by inaccurate temperature measurement in the use of these machines and electrical ...

Coupling Vibration Analysis of Turbine Shared Support Rotor‐Bearing System with Squeeze Film Dampers
The turbine shared support structure is used widely in aeroengines, but theoretical and experimental research on a rotor‐bearing system containing a shared turbine support structure is lacking. This paper reports research into the coupling vibration response of a squeeze‐film‐damper rotor‐bearing system that has two spools with different rotation ...

Research on Real-Time Model of Turboshaft Engine with Surge Process
The main data source for the verification of surge detection methods still rely on test rigs of the compressor or the whole engine, which makes the development of models of the whole engine surge process an urgent need to replace the high-cost and high ...

Process for Turboshaft Engine Performance Trending
Turboshaft engines are ubiquitous in aerospace applications where high power and reliability are needed in a low-weight package. Most all helicopters incorporate turboshaft engines. All turboshaft-equipped aircraft have power assurance checks to ensure the engine can achieve the minimum specification for power.

Power Fan Design of Blended‐Wing‐Body Aircraft with Distributed Propulsion System
A blended‐wing‐body aircraft has the advantages of high lift‐to‐drag ratio, low noise, and high economy compared with traditional aircraft. It is currently a solution with great potential to become a future civilian passenger aircraft. However, most airplanes with this layout use distributed power, and the power system is on the back of the fuselage ...
