The simulation shows that the comprehensive heat transfer effect of using nanofluids as cooling liquid is greater than 1.30 nm SiO2/water and 40 nmAl2O3/water nanofluids have the best heat transfer enhancement effect, while all nanofluids of 30 nm Al2O3/water have the best heat transfer enhancement effect.

On dissipation timescales of the basic second-order moments: the effect on the energy and flux budget (EFB) turbulence closure for stably stratified turbulence [PDF]
The dissipation rates of the basic second-order moments are the key parameters playing a vital role in turbulence modelling and controlling turbulence energetics and spectra and turbulent fluxes of momentum and heat.

Large-scale energy spectra in surface quasi-geostrophic turbulence
The large-scale energy spectrum in two-dimensional turbulence governed by the surface quasi-geostrophic (SQG) equation $$\partial_t(-\Delta)^{1/2}\psi+J(\psi,(-\Delta)^{1/2}\psi) =\mu\Delta\psi+f$$ is studied.

This study concluded that wider spray angles produce wall impingement and greater unburned hydrocarbons in methane‐diesel dual‐fuel engines, whereas 110° balances efficiency and emissions. ABSTRACT A diesel methane dual fuel engine appears as a potential means for lowering emissions while retaining useful thermal efficiency.

This figure shows the variation of the total heat transfer coefficient of a shell and tube heat exchanger with different concentrations of water‐based MgO nanofluids at different inlet flow rates. The results indicate that the total heat transfer coefficient increases with increasing flow velocity, and at different volume fraction settings, the ...
